Allison is another fellow Wildkat, and she brought her family down from Dallas for a family session. Allison’s two boys Parker and Reece were like most boys… a handful. It was great catching up with old friends. After the session we made a tasty trip to Chuys for lunch.

Carrie is a friend of mine from back in high school in Willis. It was great seeing her and her husband and their two fun kiddos. Carrie even brought her dad & mom for the session. Her mom was my younger brother’s 1st grade teacher…. small world in Willis! So here are a few pictures from their session – which was planned to be outdoors but the sudden freezing temperatures brought us to the studio instead. What is up with this cold weather!?

I met Tonya earlier this year when she came by the studio for her head shot for work. We finally got her booked for a family session and of course the day before our session one of her kiddos had a incident with a frisbee…. right to the eye, bruises and all. So we rescheduled the shoot, hoping there would be no further frisbee incidents! I do not know where her and her husband get their energy from to keep up with 4 kids, but during the shoot I sure was glad that Grandma came along to help out. It made my job a bit easier!

Lindsey & Brooklynn

Lindsey and Brooklynn came by the studio for a quick session for their Christmas cards. Brooklynn is a pro since this was her 3rd session with me. Lindsey had a special Christmas dress for Brooklynn to wear for the photos. Brooklynn was so proud of the dress that she even showed me how to curtsey.

The Lackey Family

Kyle & Lisa came out to the studio with their newest addition Camden. The last time they came to the studio was for Lisa’s maternity session and I gave her a hard time about not bringing an extra change clothes or any personal props. So this time she loaded up with several changes for Camden and Kyle’s favorite argyle sweater (sarcasm) as well as some stuffed animals. Camden fell asleep as soon as we wanted him to so that we could get the sleeping pictures. Lisa used an app that played white noise on her iphone to soothe him to sleep, and it made the rest of us tired as well. Afterward we went to Panda Express for a bite to eat. As always I like it when clients take me to lunch or dinner.

The Holding Family

I met up with the Holding family last week for a fun family photo session. It’s always interesting doing pictures with kids since you never can predict what they will do or say. Well this little kiddo decided his word of the day was, NO. Anytime I asked him to do something, I got the same answer – no. It was funny, but we got some great pictures, even with all of the NO’s.

The Zaunbrecher Family

This holiday season has been amazing. We have been very busy and blessed by some amazing clients old and new. Here is another repeat client from last year. The Zaunbrecher’s came in this year with their little one for Christmas photos. As most of you know, when I am in a session I am moving everywhere. I am rolling on the ground this way and that. Well this time as I was rolling around on the porch to find the perfect shot, the little one mimicked my every move and laid down on the porch like me. I thought it was so cute and captured an adorable photo.

The Reyna’s are another great repeat customer. Everytime we photograph these boys it is an adventure. Lets just say that the boys have a lot of energy and are very set in their ways. We shot in the studio as well as outside, which we had to make quick because the boys wanted to run around everywhere.
