I met up with Megan and Alex around Waterway Square in The Woodlands for their engagement session. I had asked them if they had a particular location in mind for their session and Megan mentioned that they loved to walk along the waterway on date nights after eating out at Market Street… and I thought…perfect, I love taking pictures out by the waterway! So after having rescheduled once due to the rain… we ended up with a better weather day and I had a great time walking around the park getting to know Megan and Alex.  Can’t wait for their wedding next summer at St. Anthony of Padua and reception at The Woodlands Resort.

I have known Dan & Gina since 2002, they have actually been a couple for as long as I have known them. Dan is super camera shy, OK he is actually the most camera shy person I have ever met. He did good during the shoot though, I appeased him by letting him turn away from the camera for a few shots or hide behind Gina. We started the session out at an old junkyard that had some really junked out cars that worked great for the backdrop. We also found an old 1956 Bentley to use. We finished up with some shots of Dan’s prized possession, his BMW M3 (which I think he said that I can drive whenever I want). I also wanted to try out another new location that I found so we headed out there and started taking a few pics and within a few minutes all of us were being attacked by crazy mosquitoes! So that new place only lasted a few min and I don’t think I’ll be going back there again without bug spray.  One other thing, thanks to Kevin for all his help with shoot!

This may sound cheesy but I’m saying it anyways – One thing I noticed during the shoot was the way that Gina looks at Dan. It is so adorable, you can see how much she loves him in her eyes. As long as I have known them, she has always looked at him that way and it’s really sweet. OK – my girly moment is over.  Enjoy the pics.  Please comment.

Random fact about me: This is a story of 2 friends standing in line with a bunch of weirdos, asked to tell their most intimate secrets. Soon they stopped being friendly and started getting REAL. In 2002 me and my friend Wes decided that we would go try out for MTV’s The Real World. The age cut off was 25 and we both made it right before our 26th birthday. Needless to say we never made it on to the show, but it was a fun story.
