We met Olivia and Jesus last year at Johanna and Joe’s wedding where Olivia was the maid of honor.  These two were a blast to work with. During the shoot Jesus kept telling the people that he was a model, and towards the end of the shoot someone even approached him to ask where he got his shirt from, and we all got a good laugh out of that. We also had Olivia’s sister Diana helping out to keep the two in line as well as being fashion consultant for the day.  For their engagement session we started at the River Oaks Garden Club which was very pretty and the weather was amazing that day. Then we headed over to downtown to do a few at Jesus’ office and finished up in the heights. We finished at Tampico Refresqueria where we ate some roasted corn and snow cones. Not a bad way to end a shoot.

Aline & Francisco Engagement

October 22, 2009

I met up with Aline and Francisco in Houston at Discovery Green park. The weather was crazy that week. At the beginning of the week it was wet and cold, then of course on the day of the session it was hot and muggy. After the park we walked around downtown and got some great shots with some of the old buildings. I had brought along a fellow photographer Troy Covey who wanted to try out a panoramic camera he had for fun. After downtown Troy showed me a cool field and we got some great shots with downtown in the back.
