Scott runs Crossfit The Woodlands and needed a promo video to showcase what crossfit is. Aaron headed up the project with the help of Joey, Kevin (in the drivers seat) and me. At the start of the shoot I was the stand in for Scott’s running scenes, after all we are kind of built the same. The promo turned out pretty sweet, all the props go to Aaron for some great editing and Scott for being able to run and keep up with a car.

31 films hard at work…

PS: Girl scout cookies are back and I may have bought the troops whole supply.

Natalie brought along Jonas’ Halloween costume, which as you can tell is Charlie Brown. Jonas did pretty good for the whole shoot and we even got some smiles from him. We did have one incident…someone accidentally forgot to bring extra diapers and they were needed! So while Natalie ran to the store we grabbed some shots of Joey and Jonas.

Rachel also came by the day before with their little min-pin Nina (she’s the one in the green collar with her tongue sticking out). These two will be celebrating their 1 year anniversary next month. I was actually there when they got engaged.  We were out doing a photo session and Aaron surprised Rachel with the proposal mid-session.  Such a cool moment to be able to capture. For their session, they wanted something a little different and since Aaron works at 31Films we decided to do some pictures with some of my old cameras. I think the old cameras matched them quite well. We even got an American Gothic feel in one of the shots. Thanks for viewing this post! And please leave a comment if you like!

PS: Aaron is the one that got me hooked on Crossfit. Well it has been almost a month since I have been there and I blame chocolate cream Oreos. They are so delicious and tempting.

Plus I love the look of film and I don’t think anyone wants to see me in HD…haha.  So I’m not great about being in FRONT of the camera, guess that’s why I’m the photographer, but Joey did a great job of capturing us out on a session with a rockstar couple Tessa & Philip and my lighting guy extraordinaire Kevin Marlowe (thanks to all of you for braving the Texas heat for this shoot!).
