I had a great time photographing the Castillo family. This is our third session with the family. Photographing the Castillo family has little more special meaning for me. The Castillo’s oldest Ryan is named for a classmate of Shaun’s and mine. Ryan Scherbel was one of Shaun’s best friends and sadley passed from injuries suffered in a one-car accident in North Texas in 1993. Ryan’s dad, Mr. Scherbel, was my photography teacher in High School. So it makes me proud to be able to photograph this family.
To Mr. Scherbel,  thanks for teaching and inspiring me and many others, thanks for everything.

Kate and Travis had a sweet intimate wedding with their closest family and friends right before Christmas.  This was the last wedding of the year and we’re happy to share a few favorite shots from their special day.  (They even got a family portrait in with their cute dog.)

These are my cousin’s kiddos and they are always fun to photograph!

The Vanar family welcomed a new addition to their family recently! Congrats!
