So I have to be honest, I have not been paying that much attention to the coverage of the earthquake in Haiti. Lately I have just been focused on the business and getting ready for 2010. I have been trying to figure out which workshops I wanted to do with some of my favorite photographers at WPPI. I have been waiting and saving to do a workshop with one of the best wedding photographers- Mike Colon. I have been so self involved with trying to get the money together for these things I have been ignoring the destruction and pain that people are going through. So last night I stayed up late watching Anderson Cooper’s coverage of the disaster. It was heartbreaking watching the people and to see what they are going through. It is amazing that they are still pulling out survivors from the rubble. It also amazing seeing how many countries have come together to help. After seeing the coverage I felt embarrassed. Here I am worried about luxuries and all these people out there need essential items like water and food.
