Yes, I know this post is titled Maternity Portraits and there’s a dog pic below. Becky missed out on our pet portrait day so she decided to bring in her dogs for a quick session too. They were really sweet big dogs! On to the maternity portraits… we did this session early in the month and I think it was only a week or so later their little one was born! So congrats to Becky and her family!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas day! Now time to recover from all the festivities and get ready for New years! So we are back to work for a couple days to blog our last few sessions of the year. The Rivera’s came by for their photo session at the studio a couple weeks ago. They are a really sweet couple who are expecting their first baby in the new year. Congrats you two!

This holiday season has been amazing. We have been very busy and blessed by some amazing clients old and new. Here is another repeat client from last year. The Zaunbrecher’s came in this year with their little one for Christmas photos. As most of you know, when I am in a session I am moving everywhere. I am rolling on the ground this way and that. Well this time as I was rolling around on the porch to find the perfect shot, the little one mimicked my every move and laid down on the porch like me. I thought it was so cute and captured an adorable photo.

I met Rebecca and her husband at Erica’s wedding. I love it when I meet clients that way. Referrals are the best! Anyway we had a great time on the shoot. I asked her husband to make her laugh during the session, so what did he do…he would shake her belly. I would not suggest this any other time than a maternity session.

Monica Maternity

We met Monica and Matt at Erica and David’s wedding last month. They are expecting their first little one very soon. When they came by the studio last weekend for their shoot, Monica brought some wooden letter blocks to do pictures with. They were actually Matt’s blocks from when he was a baby, very cool!

Lisa and Kyle were the winners from our first Facebook fanpage contest (If you’re not fan yet, become one! We might be doing another contest soon!) This was a great maternity session we did early in the morning at the studio. I’m not normally at the studio that early, but I’m glad we did it since I found out the light in the field by studio is really nice at that time of day! Roxana and Kirk were super easy to work with and we had a lot of fun during the session, especially since Kirk’s parents were there to tease Kirk and make us all laugh.
